This is one of my favorite salad vinaigrette recipes. I usually produce it in a larger amount so I always have some on spare. It last very long when you keep it in the fridge.


3 portions orange juice
2 portions oil
1 portion vinegar
3 spoons salt
3 spoons horseradish (optional)
3 spoons mustard
1 spoon sugar / honey
some pepper
fresh garlic
herbs (fresh or use frozen garden herbs or french herbs)
2 potatoes / mondamin for the consistence

I prefer to use potatoes over mondamin. You can easily cook potatos in the microwave where it only takes 4-5 minutes (use a bowl with a bit of water inside).
Mix all the ingredients together and then the vinaigrette is ready to be served.




pumpkin and vegetables

The pumpkin seasons comes to its end, but I´d still like to share this picture with you. I love pumpkins, they are easily prepared, cheep, healthy and there are many ways to process them.
This picture shows pumpkin slices together with onions and carrots, that I baked in the oven.
You can make all kinds of vegetables in the oven, just slice them and add some oil, salt and pepper to them. Keep them for about 20-30 minutes in the oven at 180°. If you add some potato slices to the vegetables and prepare a yoghurt dip, you have a complete meal.


I try to always bake my own bread. The recipe is super easy and fast to make (5 minutes work & about one hour to wait). Just after the bread is done, it´s very good to eat it with salt & butter.


1 cube yeast
450 ml water, lukewarm
500 g whole wheat flour
2 tsp salt
2 tablespoons vinegar
50 g of sunflower seeds
50 g of sesame
50 g of flaxseed

Grains may be omitted or exchanged (raisins, almonds, nuts).


1. Stir yeast with water, then add all the other ingredients and stir them.


2. Put the dough into the form. I use a silicon form for this, this way you don´t have to grease  the form.


3. Directly put the form into the oven.

4. Bake 60 min at 200 ° top / bottom heat, or 50 min at 170 ° hot air. DSC_1201
